ITH Clear Window No touch face mask template and directions

ALT file is the one with lighter satin stitching in case your clear vinyl doesn’t like heavy satin stitching.

FIRST… this is not to be worn tight to the mouth.  This is to be snug at the nose bridge and fastened with elastic to the back loosely to hold the mask to your face but not tight.  This is because you are introducing a non-breathable material to the front of your mask.  The design fits most adults with larger (6×10) to smaller (5×7) faces. Please watch the video, this is an advanced ITH design when you are putting in the metal piece.  You are responsible for any damage you cause to your machine by stitching this if you put metal in this design.   I suggest making this as I do in the video with a elastic cord to see how small the margins are to line this pattern up for the top stitch and ensure you are capable of doing this design.   I personally like this without the metal nose piece.  The design .zip has directions as well as a YouTube video on how to make this on our YouTube channel.   This is a very quick embroidery template pattern with two hoopings.   I use kam snaps to attach my adjustable straps for my mask which little kam snap placement spots stitch on this design, if you do not want to use kam-snaps you just omit the placement stitches for the snaps.   This is not a virus protection mask it is just to limit you touching your bare skin with your hands.  This is a precision design which means you must line it up perfectly with little error to get all the top stitching to work perfectly.

AGAIN do not wear this tight to the mouth and pre-make the design before you try to do with a metal nose piece to ensure you know where to place everything as you are responsible for any damage you cause your machine by putting metal in the design.  The design is set for a very small guage like shown so if you are not accurate you could hurt your machine.  Personally I like the mask with no option for metal wire.
