The template stitches out in a 5×7 hoop and the join of the two pieces (front and lining) is done in a 5×7 hoop however, the actual bringing it all together is in a 6×10 hoop… The design .zip has directions as well as a YouTube video on how to make this on our YouTube channel. This is a very quick embroidery template pattern that you sew together in minutes on the sewing machine but if you are doing this you will be embarking on it as a ITH design. Stitch on a thick cutaway to have it be a reusable over and over template and make notes on one side for how long to make your elastic. I think for a adult 9 inches is good… but you will want to test it out for your face/head…. This is a great scrap fabric buster and a great way to protect your nose and mouth from touching when your out in public not realizing your touching your face. This is not a virus protection mask it is just to limit you touching your bare skin with your hands.
